Lawless and Dean's talented keyboard / saxophonist reutrns to the U2 360 World Tour. U2 had postponed the US leg of its tour due to a surgery to the singer. The US leg has been rescheduled for 2011. Lawless will return in October. posted 7/23/08
Home base for Lawless and Dean, the Costa de Oro tasting room in Santa Maria, recently came back from two major vintner festivals with a basket full of medals. Congrats to Gary and Theresa and their staff. Well deserved. At the Orange County Wine Festival CDO came away with three gold and two bronze. The 2008 Reserva Dorada Estate Chardonnay also took the top prize, BEST IN CLASS, above over 3000 entrants. Great wine, great atmosphere, great music. What a combination. Terry and Michael have a repeat performance at Santa Maria's McKeon-Phillips Winery. After their mega successful appearance at the winery's Summer Solstice Fest and Banquet, the patrons demanded that they return for another show. The winery is celebrating 37 years of successful winemaking in Santa Maria. Ardison and his staff are wonderful people and throw a great party. Don't miss this one. This pair plays everywhere around the world, but their favorite place is the Costa de Oro tasting room in Santa Maria. Two more shows before Terry returns to U2 and Mike takes over, doing a single. The pair love it at CDO. The atmosphere is comfy, the wine is superb. The people have become family and this has become "home". Two shows are on the bill. You've seen the pair as a duo quite a bit lately, but Terry and Mike have teamed up with drummer Kevin Simmons and bassist Evan Hiney to form a great classic rock band. The quartet has been rockin Harry's night Club and Beach Bar in Pismo Beach, playing great classics by Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, the Doobies and other multi platinum artists. The dynamic duo recently did an impromptu performance at legendary steak house, F.W.McClintock's in Arroyo Grande. Central Coast residents remember the rockin' good times at this great restaurant. In their ever expanding territory, catch Lawless and Dean at the gorgeous Lago Giuseppe Cellars. It is like walking into a painting when you come on this Templeton property. The duo will be playing by the lake in an all day festival to kick off Independence weekend. The event is July 3 at 1 pm. Maybe take in a little bass fishing while you are there. posted 6/26/10

Coming off their last production, for San Diego's Crowded Head Band and Santa Maria's popular Bare Feet band, the pair are producing Central Coast talent, Jacqueline Bosch. 6 songs have been completed in Lawless's production studio. Lawless and Dean's talented keyboard / saxophonist has just returned from Dublin, where he was laying down tracks on the newest U2 CD, due out later this year. Lawless has played on a number of previous U2 songs, most recently on U218:the Singles, where he performed keyboards on 2 hits, Window In The Skies and The Saints Are Coming(with GreenDay). Both of these compositions were recorded at legendary Abbey Road Studios.He also performed on the cover of John Lennon's Instant Karma for the Amnesty International's 2008 campaign for relief in Darfa. Window In The Skies and Instant Karma were both nominated for Grammy Awards this year, but were not fortunate enough to win the coveted award. posted 4/29/08

This debut performance by the pair as a duo in 2008 encouraged the pair to play more together in this format. You'll be glad they made that decision.
